Vocational Rehabilitation, TN DHS

Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) services help Tennesseans with disabilities prepare for, find, and keep a job. A disability may include a medical or mental health diagnosis, and substance use disorder is a recognized diagnosis that may qualify for VR services. Each participant works with a team of VR professionals to create an Individualized Plan for Employment based on their goals, with personalized services that may include training, education, or work-based learning.
