Youth ages 10–18 from low-income, rural, or underserved households across Maury County, including Columbia, Mt. Pleasant, Santa Fe, Hampshire, Culleoka, Spring Hill, and Williamsport. Priority is given to youth facing:
- Economic hardship
- Family instability
- Behavioral health challenges
- Trauma or involvement with juvenile court services
Deliver evidence-based workshops focused on substance use prevention, mental health, leadership, and healthy coping.
Foster confidence, self-advocacy, and civic responsibility through mentorship and peer-led service opportunities.
Equip parents and caregivers with tools to support academic, behavioral, and emotional growth at home.
Remove logistical and financial barriers (e.g., transportation, meals) to ensure all families can participate.
Strengthen relationships with schools, nonprofits, and local agencies to ensure sustainability and collective impact.
- School-based and community workshops on leadership, goal-setting, communication, and emotional health.
- Mentorship programs and peer-led service learning.
- Family events combining fun, education, and resource access (e.g., Narcan, lockboxes, Redline).
- Meal provision at events to reduce financial burden and increase engagement.
- Technical assistance and resources for local educators, mentors, and community leaders.
- Increased youth knowledge of mental health and substance use risks (measured by pre/post surveys).
- Improved self-confidence, decision-making, and leadership among participants.
- Strengthened parent-child relationships and greater caregiver engagement.
- Expanded network of collaborative partnerships and community resource access.
Mobile and county-wide, with outreach focused on:
- Columbia
- Mt. Pleasant
- Santa Fe
- Hampshire
- Culleoka
- Spring Hill
- Williamsport
- And other high-need or hard-to-reach communities in Maury County.
